The project will bring relief to the city centre of Omiš by deviating the traffic from the residential area and reducing the traffic congestion during the summer and tourist season.

The Cetina Bridge is a steel girder bridge connecting the Komorjak tunnel and the Omiš tunnel at a height of 70 meters from the ground and above the River Cetina. It has an overall length of 216 meters and a maximum span of 152 meters between 2 supports. The slender construction of the closed steel box bridge has a variable section between 6.50 meters in the extremities and 2.50 meters in the middle so, in this way, it fits into the environment and does not close the view of the Cetina canyon. The steel structure has been manufactured and pre-assembled in segments in the workshops and thus transported to the construction site, where it has been assembled in two halves inside the tunnels and launched in its final position, welding the final joint at height.
